And now for something completely different, my latest painting, ‘The Fire’
I have been working on this painting over the last year and now it is finally finished.
The element of water features in my paintings and thought it would be an interesting addition to create a painting using the element of fire.
It is always fascinating to stare into a fire and see all the different shapes and patterns that emerge.
The vast majority of my work in recent times has been on commission. This painting is however available for sale.

This is the fourth piece in my series of paintings that are just light and water.
These paintings have no scene or horizon, making them feel a bit more abstract,
like a repeat pattern or a tapestry.
The deep blues, alongside the bronze, gold and soft white give this painting a metallic look.
